Arrival by train
From Bochum Main Station take subway "U 35" (direction "Hustadt"). Get off at the tram stop "Lennershof". On the bridge (above the tram stop) turn left and follow the street “Im Westenfeld” for about 300 m. At the end turn right into Lennershofstrasse. After 100 m you will reach the building named "ID". Enter it and go to the 2nd floor, room 607.

Arrival by plane
Düsseldorf (DUS) International
Düsseldorf airport is directly connected by train with Bochum Central Station. From the train station inside Dusseldorf airport, take any of the trains going to Bochum (direction Dortmund). There are several trains per hour going that way. It will take approximately 40 min to get from Dusseldorf airport to Bochum Central station. From Bochum Central Station take subway "U 35" to "Hustadt" and get out at stop Ruhr-Universität". Then walk to the IC building depicted in the campus map provided above.
Dortmund (DTM) Airport
From Dortmund-Holzwickede Airport take bus SB 47 to Dortmund Main Station (operating every hour from Monday till Saturday, no busses on Sundays). From Dortmund Main Station there are several train connections to Bochum, e.g. the Regionalexpress to Aachen (operating every hour), or the S-Bahn S 1 to Düsseldorf (operating every 20 minutes). From Bochum Main Station take subway "U 35" to "Hustadt" an get out at stop "Ruhr-Universität".
Frankfurt am Main (FRA) International
Another possibility is to fly to Frankfurt am Main. As the largest airport in Germany, direct flights to many international destinations exists.
